NATIONAL HONORABLE MENTION AWARD FOR TV COVERAGE OF
HUNTINGTON BEACH’S 4th OF JULY PARADE
Local multi-camera coverage honored by the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors
Huntington Beach, CA – The National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (NATOA) recently honored the Public Cable Television Authority with an honorable mention award for PCTA’s television coverage of the 2016 Huntington Beach 4th of July Parade.
NATOA’s Government Programming Awards (GPA) honor excellence in broadcast, cable, multimedia and electronic programming produced by local government agencies nationwide. This year NATOA received more than 900 entries, up 7% from the previous year, submitted by local governments across the country. PCTA’s honorable mention award was in the Live Community Event Coverage category.
Located in Orange County, the Public Cable Television Authority (PCTA) is a joint powers agency representing the cities of Huntington Beach, Fountain Valley, Westminster, and Stanton and produces exclusive local television programming for each of its respective member cities. PCTA programming can be seen on Spectrum, Frontier FiOS, and AT&T U-Verse.
